Downed Line Knocks Out Power Along Woodward

BLOOMFIELD HILLS (WWJ) - Authorities say a downed power line along Woodward Avenue is causing about 1,400 outages in Oakland County.

DTE Energy crews are on the scene making repairs and hope to have the power restored as soon as possible, although it's not clear how long that will take.

"You have no idea how bad it is. We get our rushes in and we have no coffee," Bradley told WWJ's Mike Campbell. "We do have donuts, bagels and muffins, but it's just not the same."
