Don't Miss Detroit Restaurant Week: April 11-20

DETROIT (WWJ) - Hungry to try something different in Detroit?

Featuring more restaurant options than ever before, the 2014 spring edition of Detroit Restaurant Week takes place Friday, April 11 through Sunday, April 20.

Three-course dinners on a special menu will be available for either $20 or $30 per person, depending on the restaurant.

"It's really a great deal to go in, try a new restaurant," said John Lambrecht with, Fountain Bistro at Campus Martius, told WWJ's Marie Osborne. "And it's also a great time for the chefs to really experiment; so, for example, our chef has prepared a whole new menu for this."

"It's fun, especially if you don't get downtown a lot," Lambrecht said. "You can see the progress that everybody's been talking about, and ... it's a great opportunity to try some of the newer restaurants."
