Dixon Machado has had minor stints with the Detroit Tigers. In 2015 he appeared in 24 games for the big league team and appeared in four this season.

Monday night, he very well might have made a play he will watch until he is old and gray.

Back with the Mud Hens, Machado made a catch that you may never see happen again. With an 8-1 lead, a ball was hit to left field that looked like it was going to be a base hit. The announcer even thought the ball had a chance to drop and out of nowhere, Machado came sliding in and caught the ball with his bare hand.

This is an absolutely amazing catch. He probably could have made the play with his glove, but opted for style points. To make the catch even better, it ended the game.

You might get to see a play similar to this when he will presumably be called up in September.
