Disruptive Passenger Causes Flight To Make Emergency Landing In Detroit

DETROIT (WWJ) -- Saturday afternoon saw scary moments for passengers on a Jet Blue flight as the plane was forced to make an emergency landing at Detroit Metro Airport.

The flight from New York's JFK airport to Las Vegas was forced to land at Metro Airport due to a disruptive passenger. Airport spokesman Michael Conway said that the passenger was fighting with his family and could not be controlled.

The pilots landed and the man was pulled from the plane and taken to a local hospital. The Jet Blue flight then continued on to its Vegas destination.
