DIA To Install Latest Round Of Outdoor Art Reproductions

DETROIT (AP) — The Detroit Institute of Arts is getting ready to install works for the latest edition of its program that puts up artwork reproductions outdoors in southeastern Michigan.

The museum says more than 90 pieces for "Inside/Out" will be installed in nine communities this month, starting with Romeo and Macomb County's Chesterfield Township on Monday. Other installations are planned for several Detroit neighborhoods as well as Oxford, Beverly Hills, Belleville and River Rouge.

"Inside/Out" is in its seventh year. This is the second round of 2016 works and they'll be on display through October.

The program is sponsored by the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation. Once installation is complete, downloadable maps will be posted online.
