Detroit-Windsor Tunnel Scheduled For Closure Sunday Morning

DETROIT (WWJ) -- Those who want to use the tunnel to travel from Detroit to Windsor on Sunday morning will want to make different plans.

The Detroit-Windsor Tunnel will be closed from 7 a.m. until 10 a.m. for an annual tunnel exercise.

For the last 10 years, Detroit and Canadian first responders have partnered to practice strategic and tactical capabilities in the case of an emergency or terrorist incident occurs.
