Detroit Tigers Trade Rumors: Lucroy And Hellickson Mentioned

Monday at 4 p.m. is the trade deadline for the MLB and rumors are running rampant that the Tigers will be making a move.
The first rumor of the day is from Ken Rosenthal from Fox Sports, who is talking about Jonathan Lucroy from the Milwaukee Brewers.
Lucroy has no-trade to #Tigers, but future playing time with them would not be the issue that it would have been with #Indians.

Source: #Rangers have not had contact with #Brewers on Lucroy since last night. Possible that another team (HOU? DET?) is jumping into mix.

Sources: #Tigers not on Lucroy. Will not give up pitching to get a catcher. Also doubtful to land SP. Not willing to trade off MLB roster.

Lucroy did block a trade that would have sent him to the first place Indians. Thinking he would waive his no-trade clause to the Tigers might be a pipe dream.
105.7 FM in Milwaukee is reporting that Lucroy didn't travel with the team to San Diego.
Jayson Stark from ESPN is reporting that the Tigers are out of the mix on starting pitcher Jeremy Hellickson of the Philadelphia Phillies. He also says that he is hearing "rumblings" that the Tigers are interested in Angels' left handed starter Hector Santiago, but the Tigers don't want to move Matt Boyd or Daniel Norris.
Phillies could still hold Jeremy Hellickson. As of late yesterday hadn't lowered the price. SF & Tigers out. Not 1st choice of Texas/Toronto

Hearing rumblings about the Tigers & Hector Santiago but still seems unlikely. Detroit adamant about not moving Matt Boyd or Daniel Norris

Jon Morosi from Fox Sports doesn't think the same and says that Hellickson is on the Tigers "list."
#Tigers focused on starting pitching market. Jeremy Hellickson, drawing interest from multiple clubs, is one name on their list. @MLB
