Detroit Tigers Call Up SS Eugenio Suarez
It looks as if the Tigers are making a move to try to shore up their shortstop position as they have called up SS Eugenio Suarez from Triple A Toledo.
With the Mud Hens, the 22-year-old Suarez hit .302 with 2 HRs and 7 RBI in 52 plate appearances. In Double A Erie, Suarez hit .284 with 6 HRs and 29 RBI.
Danny Worth will be designated for assignment and Andrew Romine will start Wednesday's game.
