Detroit Property Tax Assistance Fair Moved To New Location

DETROIT (AP) - City officials have changed the location of a program designed to help Detroit homeowners avoid tax foreclosure.

The free, property tax assistance fair will be held Saturday at Detroit's Northwest Activities Center.

Representatives from the city's Treasury and Assessors departments will be available to discuss programs that could help eligible homeowners reduce some portion of their annual property taxes.

Wayne County officials and representatives from foreclosure prevention groups also will be on-hand.
