Detroit Police Seek Suspect In Liquor Store Robbery Fail [VIDEO]

DETROIT (WWJ) - A robbery fail was caught on camera in Detroit — and now police are looking for help to I.D. the culprit.

On Thursday, April 30, at around 12:30 a.m., police say a young man didn't quite succeed in his plan to break into a liquor store in the 12500 block of Mack.

The suspect is seen on security video as he busts through a wall and climbs through the hole he created. Once inside, the man discovers he's trapped in a storage area and can't gain access to the store itself. After less than a minute, he climbs back through the hole he created and flees.

The suspect is described as a black male, 17 to 20 years old, of petite stature: around 5 feet, 5 inches tall and 110 lbs.

He has short black hair and was wearing a wearing a black and white hooded sweatshirt, black pants with bright green lettering and black shoes.
