Detroit Police Seek 2 Persons Of Interest In Fatal Shooting [PHOTOS]

DETROIT (WWJ) - Police in Detroit are hoping the public can help identify two persons of interest who may have information about a fatal shooting on the city's east side.

The shooting happened just before 4:30 p.m. on Monday, June 6, in the area of Maryland and Harper. Police responded to the scene and found a 38-year-old male victim lying on the ground suffering from a gunshot wound. He was rushed to a local hospital where he later died from his injuries.

No arrests have been made in the case.

Police have released surveillance images of two men who might know something about the shooting.

The first person of interest is described as a black male in his 20s with a medium brown complexion, about 5'8" tall with a slim build. He was wearing a black hat, white t-shirt, black and red shorts, red socks and black flip-flop shoes.

The second person of interest is described as a black male in his 20s with a dark complexion, about 6' tall with a medium build. He was wearing a blue hat, white t-shirt, dark-colored pants and dark-colored shoes.
