DETROIT (WWJ) - Detroit police are searching for a 14-year-old boy who seemingly disappeared after being dropped at his high school on the city's west side.

Police say Jermarlo Harris has been missing since September 25. That day, a taxi picked Harris up at his home and dropped him off at Consortium Voyager College Preparatory Academy High School on Military Street, near Michigan and Livernois avenues. When the cab returned to the school to pick Harris up at 3:30 p.m., he was nowhere to be found.

Harris is described as a black male with a dark complexion, 6-feet tall and 183 lbs. He was last seen wearing a navy blue collared shirt, beige dress pants and black dress shoes with a black book bag. Authorities say Harris is also known to dress like a girl and go by the name "Ariel" — his alter ego.
