Detroit Police Search For Missing 15-Year-Old Girl

DETROIT (WWJ) - Detroit police are hoping the public can help locate a missing 15-year-old girl.

According to police, Monica Brown was last seen around 7:30 a.m. Tuesday in the 14000 block of Freeland, in a west side neighborhood near Schaefer Highway and I-96. Other circumstances surrounding her disappearance were not immediately clear.

Monica is described as 5'4" tall and 140 lbs. with a medium complexion, brown eyes and brown hair. She was last seen wearing a pink sweatshirt and blue jeans.

Family members told police Monica is in good physical condition, but has suffered from depression in the past.
