Detroit Police Find Body Submerged In Flooded Basement

DETROIT (WWJ) -- Detroit Police recovered a body from a flooded basement of a home on Ohio Street, on the city's west side on Monday.

Police got a tip that a body was in the basement, which had about three feet of water in it.

It is not known how long the house had been vacant or how long the body had been in the water.

The Detroit Police Underwater Recovery Team recovered the body.
