Detroit Police Confirm Several Children Missing

DETROIT (WWJ) -- Detroit Police have confirmed that several teens are missing.

14-year-old Danny Alexander and 12-year-old Dominic Gabriel vanished around noon Saturday. The juveniles were last seen leaving Wolverine Diagnostic Assessment Center -- a boy's home--- on Lenox St. on the East Side.

Police say the boys left home during recess and did not return. Alexander is 5-foot-6, 135 pounds. Dominic is 5 foot six inches tall and 170 pounds.

Meantime, authorities are also looking for a 12-year-old boy who hasn't been seen by his family for days. Charlie Bothuell is black, 5-feet-4, 120 pounds. He was wearing a red T-shirt and gray pajama pants when last seen a week ago.

The boy's father told reporters that he took a lie-detector test at the request of police. Charlie Bothuell Sr. is appealing to the public for help.
