Detroit People Mover Shuts Down For Christmas
DETROIT (WWJ) - If you were thinking about taking the Detroit People Mover over the next two days, you're out of luck.
The People Mover is shutting down and will be closed on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
The People Mover will re-open for normal operation on December 26 through December 30.
On New Year's Eve, the People Mover will open for special hours from 2 p.m. until 3 a.m. The People Mover will be closed, however, for the remainder of New Year's Day. Normal service will resume on Jan. 2.
