(CBS Detroit) - While the pandemic brought most traveling to a halt one airport delivered some of the best COVID-19 accommodations.

The Detroit Metro Airport was named one of the best airports in us by the airport's Council International Committee.

Travelers noted the cleanliness of DTW's bathrooms and terminals along with improved wait times and security.
