Detroit Man In Custody After Allegedly Pulling Gun, Robbing Student At MSU Dorm

EAST LANSING (WWJ) -- One man is in custody after an armed robbery in one of Michigan State University's dorm buildings on Thursday night.

Michigan State University police identified and arrested a man Friday for the reported robbery at East McDonel Hall.

During the incident, initially reported via an MSU Alert, the suspect pulled a handgun. MSU police are seeking criminal charges from the Ingham County Prosecutor's Office.

The suspect, who is from Detroit and has no university affiliation, is in custody and will be arraigned over the weekend.
