Detroit Man Accused Of Raping 14-Year-Old Girl Turns Self In To Police

DETROIT (WWJ) - A man has turned himself in to police in connection with the alleged sexual assault of a 14-year-old girl on Detroit's west side.

The alleged rape took place Wednesday in a home on Tracey Street.

The girl told police that she was dragged from the street into the home and held against her will. She claims that she was sexually assaulted and threatened before managing to escape.

Information on the suspect has not yet been released. It's unclear what charges he may be facing.

A 21-year-old man who lives in the home was also taken into custody on unrelated warrants.

An investigation is ongoing.
