Detroit Lions Sign RB Stevan Ridley
ALLEN PARK, Mich. (AP) — The Detroit Lions have signed running back Stevan Ridley.
The team announced the move Tuesday. Ridley played eight games for the New York Jets last season, starting one. He had 90 yards on 36 carries and caught four passes.
Before playing for the Jets last season, Ridley spent his first four years in the NFL with the New England Patriots. He rushed for 1,263 yards and 12 touchdowns in 2012.
