DETROIT (AP) — Donnie Corley caught a 40-yard touchdown pass on the final play of the Division 2 state football championship game, giving Detroit Martin Luther King a 40-38 comeback win over Lowell at Ford Field.

King's game-winning drive Friday covered 95 yards in just 37 seconds and was capped by Armani Posey's fifth touchdown pass of the game.

Running back Max Dean scored three touchdowns and quarterback Ryan Stevens rushed for two more for Lowell. The Red Arrows (12-2) became the first team to score more than 28 points against King (14-0) this season.

Lowell had a 31-13 lead early in the second half, but King rallied. Posey hit Lavert Hill with a 2-yard touchdown pass. A two-point conversion pulled the Crusaders within 38-34 late in the fourth quarter.
