Detroit Fire Battalion Chief Hurt In Crash

DETROIT (WWJ) - A Detroit Fire Battalion Chief was injured, Tuesday, in a crash on the way to a house fire on the city's west side.

Detroit Fire Chief Dale Bradley told WWJ Newsradio 950 the accident happened at 6 Mile Road and the Southfield Freeway.

The man, whose name was not released, was taken to Sinai-Grace Hospital for treatment. There's no word at this time on what injuries the Battalion Chief suffered or the severity.

No one else was hurt in the crash.
