Detroit Cop Shows Off Epic Breakdance At Movement Festival [VIDEO]

DETROIT (CBS Detroit) While protests continue to erupt across the country over police treatment of civilians, a Detroit cop took a stance for the public.

On his hands and knees.

Officer Frederick Youngblood did his own kind of community outreach during the popular electronic dance music festival known as Movement.

The music festival drew tens of thousands of music fans to the Detroit riverfront over Memorial Day weekend for acts including Snoop Dogg.

Offstage, the crowd obviously appreciated Youngblood's moves.

And they continued the applause on Facebook, where Graham C. Dickinson wrote, "Building a rapport with the community is a critical factor in policing the community. This is most likely a very good cop who knows more about his community than twenty other cops together. Good stuff!"

Another added: "I hope he doesn't get disciplined!"
