Death Of 20-Month-Old Girl In Oakland County Investigated

(WWJ) Oakland County Sheriff detectives are investigating the death of a 20-month old girl.

The child was taken to McLaren Hospital-Oakland by her mother on Wednesday after her boyfriend called and said the girl had fallen down the stairs in a home on Howard Street in Pontiac.

The girl was later transported to Beaumont Hospital, but died.

An autopsy was conducted yesterday, but the cause of death is pending.

The boyfriend was questioned by police.

No charges have been filed at this time.
