Woman Found Dead At Novi Mobile Home Park Following Domestic Situation
NOVI (WWJ) - Authorities say a woman was killed during an apparent domestic situation in Novi and her husband is now facing charges.
Police say they responded to the Oakland Glens mobile home park, near 13 Mile and Novi roads, around 5:30 p.m. Thursday after the woman's mother-in-law requested help because she could not get into the home on Pierre Drive and was concerned.
Officers entered the home and found 32-year-old Heather Dixon lying on the floor in the home. An autopsy shows she was strangled.

The woman's husband, who was still in the home when police arrived, was arrested at the scene. He remains in police custody but is at the hospital for undisclosed reasons.
During a news briefing, police said the couple had three kids, aged 6, 8 and 11. It's unclear if they were home when their mom was killed. The children are with family members now.
A motive for the crime has not been released, but police say the killing was domestic in nature.
