Dearborn police say mother who went missing after leaving McDonald's restaurant has been found safe

The Dearborn Police Department reports it has located a woman who was reported missing after leaving her children at a McDonald's on Wednesday.

Police say that at about 10 a.m., Tyra Sharnae Bailey, 28, went to the restaurant on Wyoming Street with her three children. Police say she reportedly told her children she was going to a grocery store and would be back. A missing person notice was issued Thursday afternoon.

The "found safe" notice was added as an update to the police department's social media post about 2:45 a.m. Friday.

Her family told police that she suffers from a mental health condition and is homeless.
