Deadly Shooting At Detroit Pharmacy Caught On Camera: Do You Recognize This Vehicle? [VIDEO]

DETROIT (WWJ) - Detroit police have released video of a fatal shooting that happened at a pharmacy on the city's west side in hopes that someone might recognize the suspect's vehicle.

The incident happened around 1:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 16 at the West Side Pharmacy of Detroit on McNichols Road at Pinehurst Street, just east of the Lodge Freeway.

Police say an unknown suspect driving a silver or gray vehicle pulled into the pharmacy parking lot as a gold Dodge Caliber was backing out. The Dodge was occupied by two victims: a 25-year-old female, who was driving, a 40-year-old male passenger.

DETROIT POLICE SEEKS PUBLIC ASSISTANCE The Detroit Police Department is seeking the public's assistance in locating and identifying an unknown suspect wanted in connection with a fatal shooting that occurred on the city's west side. On April 16, 2016 at approximately 1:30 a.m., in the 10000 block of W. McNichols, an unknown suspect driving an unknown vehicle pulled into the West Side Pharmacy parking lot, as a gold Dodge Caliber was backing out. The gold Dodge Caliber was occupied by two victims, a 25-year old female (driver) and a 40-year old male (passenger). As the victims were exiting the parking lot, the unknown suspect fired several shots into their vehicle. As a result, the 25-year old female victim expired and the 40-year old male victim suffered a non-fatal gunshot wound to the body. The suspect fled the location after the shooting. As the Dodge was exiting the parking lot, police say the suspect fired several shots into their vehicle. The woman was fatally shot while and the man suffered a non-fatal gunshot wound to the body.

The suspect fled the scene after the shooting.
