Deadly Firebombing In Detroit: Was House Set Ablaze By Scorned Ex-Lover?

DETROIT (WWJ)  - Detroit police are questioning at least one person in connection with a deadly firebombing.

The fire broke out Monday morning at a home on Hoyt and Manning, in a northeast neighborhood near State Fair and Gratiot Avenue. Authorities say there was some type of domestic dispute and then hours later, the fire broke out.

Police say a woman and her boyfriend were killed, while the woman's brother was seriously injured.

Detectives had been looking for a woman who allegedly got into an argument with the man who died in the fire. She has been described as the mother of one of his children.

A police spokeswoman says there haven't been any arrests in the case, but people were brought in for questioning. She wouldn't say if the woman involved in the argument is among those talking with detectives.
