Daryl Hannah, John Salley Featured At VegFest In Novi
NOVI (WWJ) - Actress Daryl Hannah and former NBA player John Salley will headline at an area conference center for a vegan tastefest Sunday.
The Veg Fest 2014 is being held at the Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi.
About 150 exhibitors will showcase vegan specialty foods, eco-friendly products, books and art pieces. Vegan offerings from restaurants, bakeries, caterers and food companies will be served in a food court-style setting.
VegFest is presented by VegMichigan, a nonprofit organization that promotes awareness of the health and environmental benefits of a plant-based diet.
The event runs until 5 p.m. Sunday.
