Dan Gilbert Confirms Nike Store Coming To Detroit
DETROIT (CBS Detroit) It's been rumored, gossiped about and hoped for -- and now it's real: A Nike store is coming to Detroit.
Don't believe it?
It came right from the mouth of Dan Gilbert.

Immediately, the people of Cleveland, where Gilbert owns an NBA team, seemed to object. Why do you have to hate, Cleveland?
They responded to Gilbert's Tweet with things like "Gotta get one in Cleveland. We have the biggest nike sponsor on the Cavs. Plus Buckeyes. And and NBA uni maker next year."
But the billionaire developer, and native son, chose Detroit.
This is the second Nike venture into Detroit; The retailer occupied a small part of an Athlete's Foot store in 2004, but closed after a few years.
