Cranbrook Exhibit Offers Insights Gleaned From 'Truth Booth'

BLOOMFIELD HILLS, Mich. (AP) - Southeastern Michigan's Cranbrook Art Museum is launching a video exhibition featuring the "truths" of roughly 1,000 Detroit and Flint-area residents.

The exhibit entitled "The Truth Is I Hear You" opens Saturday at the Bloomfield Hills museum.

The 60-foot-wide video installation displays footage gathered earlier this year at several locations inside a portable, inflatable recording studio. People from various cultural backgrounds recorded statements of up to two minutes starting with, "The truth is..."

The "Truth Booth" has traveled across the country and globe gathering such insights. The project's artistic team is called Cause Collective. [Find out more about the Truth Booth here]
