Cowboy-Hatted Suspect Sought In Waterford Township Bank Robbery [PHOTO]

WATERFORD TWP. (WWJ) - Police are looking for help from the public to identify a cowboy hat-sporting suspect wanted in connection with a Citizens Bank robbery.

The crime happened at around 10:45 a.m. Thursday at the branch at 7670 Highland Road in Waterford Township.

Police say the white male suspect entered the bank, announced a robbery to the teller and demanded money. The teller complied, and the suspect fled the bank — eastbound on Highland Road in an older model, white, standard cab pickup truck —with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The robber — captured on security video — is described as 6 feet tall and 180 lbs. with a beard. He was wearing a cowboy hat, white shirt, blue jeans and white tennis shoes.

No one was hurt.
