Clinton Township Teen Dies In Single-Car Rollover Accident
CLINTON TOWNSHIP (WWJ) -- A 17-year-old is dead following a single-car crash in Clinton Township Saturday afternoon.
The crash occurred just before 2 p.m. on 16 Mile Rd. near Garvin Street. According to police, the teenage boy was traveling on westbound 16 Mile when he lost control of his burgundy 1999 Jeep. The vehicle overturned on the roadway as he tried to regain control.
The Clinton Township teen died as a result of injuries sustained in the crash. His identification is being withheld at this time.
No other injuries have been reported. The investigation is ongoing.
