Chrysler Recalls Over 25K SUV's Due To Braking Issues

AUBURN HILLS (WWJ) - Chrysler is recalling over 25,000 SUVs because of some braking issues.

The recall covers some 2012-2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee and Dodge Durango SUVs.

Chrysler isn't aware of any crashes or injuries because of the problem.

Chrysler plans to send notice to owners of the affected vehicles.

The Chrysler website notes that vehicle owners are notified by direct mail via a recall "notice" as well as through the print and/or broadcast media when recalls are issued.

The recall notice sent through the mail will give owners the direction they need to have the recall properly addressed.
