Chocolate Bunnies Hopping Off The Shelves At Gayle's In Royal Oak

ROYAL OAK (WWJ) - Easter is just a hop, skip and a jump away and the chocolate Easter treats are being snatched up quicker than you can say hop-to-it!

Grace Kulesca, is a "Chocolateer" at Gayle's Chocolate Shop and says the small and medium sized bunnies are flying off the shelves.

But Kulesca says the "XXXL" 3 foot tall, 40 pound mega bunny for $300 is still available.

Stopping by Gayle's to pick up a few treats for clients Doug Platonas told WWJ's Kathryn Larson he might nibble on one for himself. So where does he start?

"At the ears first, and it has to be solid chocolate, there should be a law againt hollow bunnies," he laughs.

And at Gayle's Chocolate they only make solid chocolate bunnies.

Kulesca says one was sold already, it went to kids at a children's home.
