Public Sounds Off With Charlie Langton On Ndamukong Suh Leaving Lions

SOUTHFIELD (CBS Detroit) Star defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh, reportedly agreed to a six-year, $114 million deal with the Miami Dolphins.

One of the most divisive figures in Detroit sports is about to shuffle off the local sports landscape. So, how does the public feel about it?

Let's just say many are not exactly broken up about it. WWJ's Charlie Langton stopped people in their tracks Monday to ask how they felt about Suh's departure.

Many sports fans agreed it was a good idea for the Lions to let him go, saying his contract demands were too high and his on-field behavior too unpredictable.

"We've got other players that can do the job," one man told Langton.

But there were exceptions. "I'm an avid Lions fans, they let him go -- a good organization would not have done that," one man said, emphatically shaking a newspaper at Langton.

With Nick Fairley's future with the team uncertain, the man said the Lions could soon have "their two front teeth missing."
