W. Virginia Police Investigate 9-Floor Fall Of Detroit Man As Homicide

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) - Police are investigating the death of a Detroit man who fell from a ninth-floor apartment window as a homicide.

The Charleston Gazette-Mail reports that police said Wednesday they were searching for other men from Detroit. Police believe those men were inside the apartment early Wednesday morning when the man fell.

Police did not identify any of the men.

Police Lt. Steve Cooper said neighbors reported hearing a commotion. When police arrived, they forced their way into the apartment and found evidence of a struggle, but nobody inside. After inspecting the apartment, police realized a body was below the window in the grass.
