Caught In The Act: Sterling Heights Man Pleads Guilty To Possession Of Child Porn

MACOMB COUNTY (WWJ) - Authorities say a Sterling Heights man was caught in the act of watching child pornography at his home when they arrived to serve a warrant.

Fifty-four-year old John Caferelli pleaded guilty in Macomb County Circuit Court Wednesday to having possession of child sexually abusive materials.

Investigators say after an IP address led them to Caferelli's home in 2014, he opened the door partially clothed and child pornography was actively running on his computer.

He's due back in court for sentencing on November 30.
