Flamin' Hot Cheetos And Cheese Sauce On A Burger -- Carl's Jr. Is Testing It

Now that I have the attention of the junk food junkies out there.

A few Los Angeles Carl's Jr. restaurants are getting reaction on a new culinary conglomeration. A promo image shows off the details of the sandwich as served on a freshly baked bun, topped with Frito Lay's Flamin' Hot Cheetos, cheddar cheese sauce, a slice of pepper jack, lettuce and tomato.

Images of the burger started appearing on social media.

The food blog Wreckless Eating found one in Linwood Ca. and shot a video review. Apparently they're still toying with the idea of the lettuce and tomato since the reviewed version did not represent a single vegetable. Oh, and where's the pepper jack?

While it wasn't their favorite Thickburger on the menu the Cheetos certainly represented heat in a pleasant way.

The burger hasn't arrived at Hardee's -- the sibling restaurant Michiganders will recognize. We can hope ...
