DETROIT (WWJ) -- A driver and his passenger are recovering after accidentally crashing into a Detroit auto parts store near Davison and Ryan Road on Saturday morning.

Detroit Police Spokesperson Sergeant Lewis told WWJ Newsradio 950 that the 48-year-old's Nissan accelerator got stuck after exiting a car wash in an adjacent building.

Both suffered non-life threatening injuries.
