Car Ends Up Under Semi In Fatal I-75 Accident

DETROIT (WWJ) - Michigan State Police are investigating an accident that left one driver dead on I-75.

MSP Lt. Mike Shaw says a car crashed into the back of a semi-truck on the northbound side of the freeway at Clark Street in Detroit.

The car went under the truck, killing the driver.

The freeway was shut down for a couple of hours, forcing motorists off at Livernois, but has since reopened.

Police don't expect release further details — including the cause of the accident or the identity of the victim — until Wednesday morning.
