Car Crashes Through Front Of Utica Gas Station

UTICA (WWJ) - Workers at a gas station in Utica are picking up the pieces after a car crashed through the front of the building.

The incident happened early Tuesday morning at the Shamrock Gas Station and convenience store at the corner of Van Dyke and Hall Road.

Police say a young woman was trying to pull into a parking spot when she apparently hit the gas instead of the brake. The car crashed through the front of the store, smashing two panels of glass.
