Police Seek Person Of Interest In Connection With Fatal Hit And Run Of Detroit Officer

DETROIT (WWJ) - The Detroit police are trying to identify a woman who police describe as a person of interest in the fatal hit and run of officer Myron Jarrett on Friday night.

Police are trying to identify this woman.

The woman is believed to have been a passenger in the car Steven Guzina was driving when hit Jarrett.

Myron Jarrett, who was assigned to the 12th precinct, died after being struck during a traffic stop on the city's west side. Craig said Jarrett was hit by Steven Guzina of Lincoln Park, who fled the scene on foot. Guzina was later apprehended without incident.

The woman is described as between 30-40 years old, light complexion, 5'3 - 5'5", 130 pounds, wearing a multi colored hat, a blue jacket, and brown pants. She appears to have suffered a possible injury to her right arm.
