ALLEN PARK (CBS DETROIT) - The Detroit Lions missed starting right tackle LaAdrian Waddle in four games earlier this season, and it appears they will miss him for the final two games as well. Lions head coach Jim Caldwell offered little hope Monday that Waddle will be able to return after suffering a knee injury Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings.

"Doesn't look good for him," Caldwell said in his weekly press conference, "but we'll come out with a final - continue to look at him, doing a little evaluation, things of that nature, so we'll have final word here shortly, next day or so."

Waddle suffered the injury during the third quarter of Sunday's win. Trainers ran out to work on him and quickly called for the cart to take him to the locker room. He did not return to the game, and Caldwell said after the game he had no update yet on Waddle but noted that news is rarely good after a player is removed using the cart.
