Businessman Sandy Pensler Taking Look At Run Against Debbie Stabenow

LANSING (WWJ) - Republican businessman from Grosse Pointe - who says he turned around factories scheduled for closure - is taking a "serious look" at running for U.S. Senate in Michigan.

Sandy Pensler, who owns Korex Companies, which makes dishwasher detergent - announcing that he'll form an exploratory committee to seek the seat held by third-term Democrat Debbie Stabenow.

Two other Republicans are declared candidates - as Stabenow seeks re-election in 2018.
