Boy, 13, Shot In Foot At Muskegon High School Football Game

MUSKEGON (AP) — Authorities say they're investigating the shooting of a 13-year-old boy during a football game at Muskegon High School.

The Muskegon Chronicle and WOOD-TV say the shooting happened Friday night. Muskegon police are asking for help from people who can help them find out how it happened.

Police say officers were called to the school about 8 p.m. and found the boy with a wound in his foot. Police say a bullet apparently entered the top of his foot and exited the bottom.

It wasn't immediately clear whether someone else shot the boy or if he fired the gun.

Muskegon beat Detroit Catholic Central 21-14.
