Bottle Return Caper Right Out Of Seinfeld Episode

LIVINGSTON COUNTY (WWJ) -  A rattling traffic stop for one Genesee County man turns into something akin to a Seinfeld episode.

The Livingston Daily Press & Argus reports that 44-year-old Brian Everidge, of Columbiaville, was in court after trying to return more than 10,000 non-returnable bottles.

During a traffic stop for speeding and subsequent investigation it was discovered that Everidge intended to return the non-returnables for cash.

He pleaded not guilty to one count of beverage return of non-refundable bottles. It's a crime which, in this case, could carry up to five years in prison.

He's free on bond and his next court date is set for June 29.
