Bond Denied For Michigan Man Charged With Murder In Wife's Death

SOUTH HAVEN, Mich. (AP) - Bond has been denied for a man charged with murder in the death of his wife, whose body was discovered during a seven-day search.

Brent Bogseth was arraigned Wednesday in South Haven District Court in the death of Kimberly Bogseth. His preliminary examination was set for Oct. 14.

The Associated Press left a message for defense attorney Kelly Page.

Authorities say Bogseth told investigators he last saw her Sept. 1 when she got out of his car during an argument on the way to work in South Haven. They seized a hammer and Kimberly Bogseth's cellphone from his SUV.

Her body was found Sept. 9 in Van Buren County's Columbia Township.

The 35-year-old man was extradited from Chicago, where he was arrested last week. He owned a coffee shop there.
