Body Found On Elementary School Playground In Plymouth

PLYMOUTH, Mich. (AP) — A man's body has been found on an elementary school playground west of Detroit.

A staff member at Smith Elementary in Plymouth called authorities after seeing the body around 8:30 a.m. Monday.

Children had not yet arrived for school.

Police say the man is in his 40s and there are no signs of foul play.

School officials tell the Detroit Free Press that the morning lineup for the 389 students at the school was done inside the building Monday instead of outdoors.
