Body Found Near Site Of Old Tiger Stadium In Detroit

DETROIT (WWJ) - Detroit police have more questions than answers after a man was found dead in a vacant lot near the site of the old Tiger Stadium.

Police say the body of a man in his 20s was found around 6 a.m. Saturday in the area of Michigan and Trumbull avenues.

The man was lying in a vacant lot with head trauma, police said, and was declared dead at the scene. His name has not yet been released.

Investigators are now searching for a suspect, but did not immediately have any leads.
